The Madame Pickwick hot air balloon has taken off; higher and farther in a value added replication of Around The World in Eighty Days. Today is Day 2 of the eighty day voyage of promotions and sales offers. Well, what is the big deal about the balloon anyway? Didn’t they crash and burn a lot in the eighteenth-century? Yes and no. Let me explain:

* With any purchase of $250 the transport is pre-paid. Which means its freight-free. Which means keep the purse or wallet shut. Which means more means.

* With any purchase of $500 the transport is on a free-freight basis AND you get a 3% discount on your bill. 3% is not enormous, but its something.

* With any purchase of $1000 the freight is free and we deduct 5% from your invoice total

*With any purchase of $3000 the freight is free and we deduct an additional 10% from yourprinceton2

Craft supplies, with the exception of brushes, tends to be on the overweight size: varnishes, palettes and paint weigh their weight in gold and hear-stopping, faint-inducing reactions on transport charges are not as uncommon as is widely reported.

In addition, we have some specials that are the equivalent of the fast double/double. What that means is that you can swallow a lot of these goods and not believe the value, but without the calories; its the dollars to donuts analogy with the same sweetness, though the gratification risks to be less instant. Select Brushes from Princeton. Rumor has it, heard from the Princeton sales rep, a delightful chap, that Mary Owens, the star painter who popularized ”rouging” techniques, may be switching allegiance to Princeton Select brushes. We don’t quite get the logic. Scharff brushes are high end, made in one of the world’s premium factories in Japan and are absurdly over-priced for what you get. The quality is A+ and its a great sale for the teacher and store. Mary is goin’ to have to work OT to get the sales with Select.balloon3

But Select does have its charms. It was designed with the collaboration of Willow Wolfe, and apparently Mary Owns was impressed with how well the round blenders worked for her particular projects. What is amazing is how affordable the brushes are. Decorative painters are notorious accumulators of brushes and Princeton hit the bulls-eye on the Select pricing. While the Pickwick balloon is airborne, we are offering great deals on Select. A few examples: The aforementioned round blender 6 is $3,33 each; the round blender 12 is $3,33 each and the always-in-demand lunar blenders are an eye-poppin’, jaw-droppin’ $1,31 each. We mentioned to the rep that we though the line was underpriced, but thats what the boss wanted. It is is cheaper to make a brush in India than in Japan, but still….

All prices above are in $CDN

Free-freight offer is good for Quebec only. Atlantic provinces ( with the exception of Newfoundland) and Ontario qualify for 1/2 freight. The rest of Canada -ROC- will be on an individual basis. Our toll-free number is 855-565-2112 or contact Benjamin Bouchard at info@madamepickwick.comballoon4
